About Me
Licensed in New York and New Jersey, I am a graduate of NYU’s School of Social Work. I have worked with individuals and families in New York City for over fifteen years. My personal and professional experiences help me relate to and successfully treat patients from an array of backgrounds.
I recently completed the Certificate Program in Trauma Studies at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis, which focuses on the theory and practice of intensive, psychoanalytically-informed psychotherapy with adults who have a history of significant early-life developmental and interpersonal trauma.
Additional Training:
Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at NYU (PANY)
Psychoanalytic Fellowship at New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (NYPSI)
Mentalization-Based Therapy at the Anna Freud Center
Parent-Infant Psychotherapy at Columbia University
Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder Certification from Postpartum Support International (PSI)
Seminars with Anthony Bateman, Esther Perel, Irwin Yalom, Frank G. Anderson, MD., Beatrice Beebe, Bjorn Salomonsson, Howard Steele, Nancy McWilliams, Frances Sommer Anderson, Elizabeth Howell, Sheldon Itzkowitz, Otto Kernberg, and Dr. Ramani Durvasula.
I proudly serve as clinical director of Creatives Care, a non-profit dedicated to connecting New York City-based artists to affordable, high-quality mental health care, and have also provided mental health consultation services to New York City's child welfare agency, The Administration for Children's Services (ACS).
I enjoy supervising new and experienced therapists working with adults and children, and offer practice building consultation to therapists entering private practice. I am an active member of the Women's Mental Health Consortium (WMHC) and the Performing Arts Medicine Association.
It is a deep honor and privilege to do this work. I believe that a therapist should never stop learning--so I look forward to advancing my own growth and knowledge through additional training, collaboration with professional peers, and the hope and resilience found in the lives of my patients.
